Jaipur: India's Physical Disability cricket team fielding coach
Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the side arm thrower in the Gujarat Titans for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).
Rohit Sharma has been assisting the Gujarat Titans team as an important member of their support staff. The 2022 IPL champions Gujarat Titans have been maintaining the top spot in the current edition of the cricket extravaganza.
Rohit Sharma did duty as fielding coach of Indian team in the 2025 edition of the Physically Disabled Champions Trophy. This tournament was held in January in Sri Lanka, where India beat Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England and emerged champions.
Ravi Chauhan, general secretary of DCCI, congratulated Rohit Sharma and wished him all the success for the new role with the GT.
"This is a very important assignment for Rohit Sharma. He is a very sincere and hard working person. He did wonders with the Indian disabled cricket team and I am sure he will do a fantastic job in the IPL too," said Ravi Chauhan.
